Thalapathy Vijay, a renowned actor with immense stardom, has officially launched his political party. He will be contesting the 2026 election as a Chief Ministerial candidate, representing the Tamilaga Vettrikazhagam Political Party.

It seems like Actor Vijay’s entry into politics with his party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) has been met with a mixed response.

Initially, leaders like Seeman and Thol Thirumavalavan welcomed him, but things took a turn after Vijay’s speech at the TVK meeting.

Now, there’s significant propaganda against Vijay from both Thol Thirumavalavan and Seeman. This change in stance could be due to various reasons, including differences in ideology or political strategies.

Actor Vijay, also known as Thalapathy Vijay, has been making waves in the political sphere with his party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK). Despite initial excitement, Vijay’s announcement of TVK’s various wings sparked controversy.

TVK Leader Vijay has introduced various wings to strengthen the party, including the Propaganda and Speakers Wing, Advocate Wing, and Media Wing. Notably, a Transgender Wing has also been established, although its listing in 9th place has sparked controversy and criticism within the party.

Leading social activist and veteran Dalit trans activist Living Smile Vidya expressed her outrage and disappointment with Vijay on Twitter “Time and again! This slur term „9“ has, has to haunt us! why Vijay?

I see you want to be inclusive, but why would you list it at 9. place?! is it some kind of sick joke? Irritating!! Dear Intellects, step up and be supportive to us, your silence encourages this bullshit” she wrote in her tweet.
