Actor Suriya’s Kanguva received mixed reviews, and fans are eagerly waiting for its sequel. Meanwhile, Suriya is busy with his upcoming movie Retro, directed by Karthik Subbaraj.

In addition to Retro, Suriya is also working on a film with RJ Balaji. According to some sources, Suriya is playing the role of a god in Balaji’s movie. Besides Retro and Suriya 45, the background music for Vetrimaaran’s Vaadivasal is also underway, composed by GVP where Suriya plays the lead.

Suriya has a packed schedule ahead. A leading cinema reviewer said that Mamitha Baiju might join Suriya soon in his 46th movie, directed by Venki Atluri. Venki’s recent movie Lucky Baskar was a huge success in both Mollywood and Kollywood.

Mamitha and Suriya were previously supposed to work together on Bala’s Vanangaan, but Suriya dropped out of the project. Vanangaan was recently released, receiving a positive response, with Arun Vijay playing the lead role.
