Kollywood fans have increasingly embraced web series culture. Recently, Tamil web series like “Time Enna Boss,” “Vathanthi,” and “Inspector Rishi” have garnered significant attention from audiences.
Among these, Pushkar and Gayathiri’s “The Vortex” received an overwhelming response, tackling the crucial issue of safety for girl children. The series highlights that sexual abuse can occur in various forms and even at the hands of close relatives.
The web series boasts a talented cast, including senior director and actor Parthiban, actor Kathir, and actress Aishwarya Rajesh. Elango Kumaravel, a seasoned and underrated actor in Kollywood, played a compelling villain.
Following its successful premiere in 2022, “The Vortex Part 2” (titled “Suzhal”) is set to release on Amazon Prime OTT on February 28, courtesy of the acclaimed directorial duo Pushkar and Gayathiri.
