“Heroines indirectly Rejected me” – Pradeep Opens up about Love Today!

Pradeep Ranganathan, a young talent from Kollywood, is rising to fame. Starting his career as a director and actor, Pradeep is now ruling Kollywood with love genre movies.

The 31-year-old actor began his film career in 2019. His first movie, Comali, starring Jayam Ravi in the lead role, gained a massive response from the Tamil audience.

After Comali’s success, Pradeep directed and starred in Love Today, which became a huge hit and earned over 100 crores at the box office. Notably, the movie was produced on a budget of just 5 crores.

Pradeep Ranganathan has now taken a break from directing to focus on acting. He has completed filming for Dragon, directed by Ashwanth Marimuthu, and is working on Love Insurance Corporation, directed by Vignesh Shivan.

During the audio launch of Dragon, Pradeep recalled some past rejections. He shared that “after completing Comali, he planned to make Love Today. As he was acting as the hero, he approached several lead heroines, but some rejected his offers indirectly, while others said they only wanted to work with established heroes.

Pradeep expressed his gratitude for now getting to act alongside leading actresses like Anupama, which has boosted his confidence.
