Vijay Stand With Vikatan – TVK Leader Blasted Centre?

TVK leader Thalapathy Vijay blasted the Centre in his tweet, supporting Vikadan. Recently, the popular media company Vikatan’s official website was banned.

BJP leader Mr. Annamalai had released a heated statement, claiming that Vikatan was working as DMK’s mouthpiece and often portrayed PM Modi wrongly. Following this, Vikadan’s website was banned. Now, many political leaders are standing by Vikatan’s side.

Thalapathy Vijay released a statement saying that the Centre is against media freedom. In his recent tweet, he noted, “What else is forcing the three-language policy but taking away the autonomy of the states? The fourth pillar of democracy, the freedom of the press, must be protected.

There is a perception that the Union government is responsible for the blocking of the website of the Media Company Vikatan. No matter who adopts fascist approaches in any form, be it the Union government or the state government, the Tamilaga Vettrikazhagam will always stand by the people and resolutely oppose them.”
