SK’s Madharasi – What is the reason behind the title? ARM Opens up

Recently, Kollywood’s young superstar Sivakarthikeyan celebrated his 40th birthday. To mark this special occasion, updates on two of his movies were released, sending his fans into celebration mode.

The movie titled Parasakthi, directed by Sudha Kongara, is currently in progress. Additionally, Sivakarthikeyan’s 23rd movie is nearing completion.

As promised, renowned Kollywood director AR Murugadoss revealed the title of Sivakarthikeyan’s 23rd movie. With just 12 days left to finish filming, the movie has been titled Madharasi.

ARM promised fans that this movie would be a high-octane action film with a love background. Furthermore, he revealed that, like in his movie Ghajini, there will be a special element associated with the hero.

The director also explained why he chose this title. He stated that North Indians often refer to Tamil people as Madharasi, and the movie revolves around a similar theme. According to the director, this is how the title Madharasi came about.
