Kamal Haasan, a genius in world cinema, is renowned for his meticulous approach to filmmaking. He excels in every aspect, from scriptwriting to movie editing. He was the first to introduce editing software to Tamil cinema and pioneered the use of live audio-capturing technology in Indian filmmaking.

Throughout his career, Kamal has consistently introduced innovative technologies to the Indian film industry. In 1991, Kamal embarked on a passion project, Marudhanayagam, in which he plays the titular role.

With music composed by Ilayaraja, the film’s production began in mid-1997. However, due to various reasons, the movie remains unfinished and unreleased. For nearly two decades, there were no updates on the project’s status.

Recently, sources close to Kamal suggest that he has revived his dream project. Although he is currently working with Maniratnam on Thug Life and has stepped down from hosting Bigg Boss, Kamal is reportedly planning to bring Marudhanayagam to life.

Kamal’s recent visit to the US for a short study tour sparked speculation about his plans. It is rumored that he is exploring the use of advanced artificial intelligence (AI) in Marudhanayagam.

Kamal’s eagerness to finally bring his dream project to the big screen has generated immense excitement among Kollywood fans, who eagerly await an official announcement from the legendary filmmaker.
